You need to be more specific about what problems you are having. There are many different programs that do many different things.

Depends on the problem, but more than likely yes, there are free registery cleaners, free spyware removers, and free anti-virus programs, all of which work just as well if not better than their paid counterparts. For anti-virus software I recommend AVG (findable by searching AVG Free), for spyware I recommend Spybot S&D (Search & Destroy). Other problems would have various other solutions.

it depends what your pc problems are. if it's spyware, yes. If it's viruses, ther are some free ones but they are not too great. If it's registry issues, not really (unless you know how to work in the registry). If its temp files you ahve disk cleanup in windows. Popup blocksers are free... Let us know what you have for issues and we can narrow it down. Or check CNet for information and downloads of completly free or free to try wares.

Try Belarc Advisor. It looks at your computer and pinpoints updates and downloads you may need to keep your computer in good shape.
Other things to try are your system tools - Scandisk, Defragging and deleting temporary Internet files - general clean up and maintenance of your computer.
I use AVG Free for a virus checker and SpyBot Search & Destroy for unwanted cookies.
Good luck! I'm sure we all have had computer problems. :)

I don't know what your problem is, but you could go to download.com and get Tune Up Utilities 2006. It is full functioning for 30 days, after that you have to pay. It has a one click fix icon that is nice. You can open the other icon and pick what you want to do.
Good Luck!
