"A number of claims by different explorers to have found remnants of Noah’s Ark on Mt. Ararat have led to continuing expeditions to the mountain, many of which have focused their searches on the gorge area."

There have actually been several archaelogical expeditions to (what we think is) Mt. Ararat in northern Turkey. At least one of these expeditions claims to have found what could be the remains of the Ark. You can probably look some of these up on the Web.

The problems with a real expedition to this area are severe. The anomoly spotted by US spy planes is high up on a 17,000 foot mountain, and is buried in a glacier. It is so cold up there that snow falls all the time. If the weather wasn't a problem, the politics of the region would be. Mt. Ararat is near the border of Turkey and Iran, and militants abound. At least one archaeology team has been captured in the past by militants. I'm not sure which is worse: frostbite or bullets!

Hopefully, the political situation will stabilize sometime in the near future (say, in 50 years or so) so a proper team can search the place. It would be cool to be able to say "here it is, all 4,000+ years worth of boat"!

Would anybody care about the Titanic, if we could raise the Ark out of the Ice?

Prove to me, that Julius Caesar was assassinated.

It is documented, thus you believe, I suppose.

However, I believe a man named Noah lived. He built an ark of some sort. There was a flood of about 50 feet, as documented in the bible, thus it was local. Those things likely happened.

It was not a global flood, and all the animals were not there. All the ones Noah knew about may have been there, but, who knows, and who can prove.

However, I can prove to you that God "might" be real.

Why did the universe just happen? What caused it, for it was not uncaused.

How did consciousness come from matter? Matter does not possess the property of consciousness.

If natural selection is real, then how can you select from nothing. There must be something to select from. Where did it come from?

Last, are you a random quirk of nature? For if you are, in the grand scheme of nature, your life is meaningless. Look in your children's eyes and tell them that.

Profoundly unanswered questions, a mystery of life and existance, and what pray tell is the answer?

I drove my car into a flash flood a couple of weeks ago. There were two flies in it. The flies were gay. This really happened, and I changed my name to Noah just for a few minutes, while that incident happened. Therefore, Noah's Ark is real.

There have been accounts of people seeing the Ark. However, we can't fully prove it to you-you can always choose to believe or disbelieve in it's existence.

Wouldn't the lions eat the sheep?

Just a thought. And there is a symbolic meaning to that, having to do with the question.

Can you prove that it isn't?

No! because it did not happen the way the bible describes. Hell just the logistics alone would have been impossible!
