My nephew who has down syndrome recently had a blood test taken, his parents were told that he had something called coons blood. This may or may not have anything to do with his down syndrome.

I think his parents need to talk to their son's doctor, never heard of coons blood. There is a test called a coombs, so they need to find out exactly what he meant.
