Why are Christians so pushy and preachy and rude enough to say "I'll pray for you" when someone says they don't believe in god? As well, why do Christians try to convert anyone that doesn't believe?
It goes both ways. You stop doing all the things I just talked about and I'll stop being pushy with you. Until then, just deal with it.

I don't believe in the same God as other people and I've never been hateful or rude about it. I believe everyone should be happy and comfortable in whatever faith they choose.
I've also been condemned to Hell by many people who believe in God just because I may worship differently than they do.
Alot of people act badly on this site and it's in no way limited to those who don't believe in God. Many who do believe in God are just as guilty of acting snobby, offended, rude and hateful.

And yes, Christians do this. I mention a belief in Fae, they laugh at me. My Hindu friends mention a belief in their Gods, and they get laughed it. My Buddhist friends mention a belief in Nirvana, and get laughed at.

Some peopleon't believe in god b/c maybe something bad happened to them. This summer i was diagonised with sudo tumor and i thought there was no god b/c how could someone cause me so much pain?

I have one word, and it is the answer-
CONVICTION.
Every person knows deep down there is a God, and they just dont want to "submit" to Him because that would mean they have to live according to His ways- and leave their sinful lives-
God convicts many hearts- and by saying there is No God, they are just wanting to believe in an alternative.
Psalms 14:1 The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, their deeds are vile; there is no one who does good.

It teaches us to say "No" to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age,"
And as it says in Romans "All have gone astray, each to his own way"

You said it best! Not one unbelieving sinner gave a logical reason why they are on this forum but only to bash and hate those who are different from them. They hate others because they hate themselves and continually to show that they are mentally twisted and have a sick fixation on religion and its followers. They are the @ss in embarrassment to those who are truly searching.

Because people who believe in god walk around preaching there ridiculous stories and try to dictate how your ment to live your life if they kept them to themselves i wouldnt care but they dont they preach it as if i was in church.
Probly half the world doesnt like how people tell you to live your life.

its just that all of us have some kind of negative thought of about most things,, i am sure you yourself have been negative of other peoples ways of life,, i am saying just be into your own thoughts and leave the rest to the lord,, he will be the ultimate judge of things not us,, don't get caught up in others ways of thinking,, be yourself,, i am sure its the right way,, lol

not everyone that doesn't believe in god is a rude person - broaden you horizons
i believe in god, but i define it differently than most everyone else
the nature of god's existence is evidence that he does not exist (to paraphrase)
