any piercing hurts! but if you really want it pain should not be the deciding factor. the pain is only temporary =) you can get through it.

Obviously, pain levels are different for everyone, but labret piercings are generally easy to sit through. If you are over 18, make sure you find a reputable, clean and safe shop to have it done in. The Association of Professional Piercers (app) (www.safepiercing.org) has a list of all members in the state you live in. You would do best to go to one of those shops. If you're under 18 and parents won't let you get it, don't just go somewhere that will pierce you without proper id. That is a HUGE mistake and can cause serious problems with the piercing. Whatever you decide, do some research on caring for your piercing so that you know how to take care of it; check out piercing message boards and sites.

A lip piercing does no longer harm in any respect. I went with my brother and made him carry my hand. whilst they pierced it, i became like enable my hand pass lol. It fells like a pinch....and to think of approximately it, no longer even a pinch. i became freaking out for no longer something! :) It became purely somewhat numb like an afternoon or 2. a ten 3 hundred and sixty 5 days previous can bare it. that's how plenty it did no longer harm!

I have heard, because of all o fthe blood vessels there - that it does hurt.
But, I had a roomate who had that done and it looked really cool - but it wore away on his gums and he almost lost his bottom teeth. He had to get surgery to keep his teeth and to fight the infection. He can't wear the labrea anymore.
Go to someone who knows something about this - if they say it doesn't happen - that's crap - because I saw the nasty stitches!

One of my really good friends got it done. She said it hurt really bad and it was really red. So she just let it close up, not sure if it's still there though.

It will hurt, but only for a minute. It's like a really hard pinch.

I had mine done, and it really only hurts for a split second. it is a little scary, but it looks so good after you get it done! totally worth it.

HMMMMMMM lets ponder this thought..a needle is going to go through your skin i am sure there is some pain involved...DUH!!

Hon, it looks REALLY stupid & uncomfortable.
Please don't do it!
I guarantee you will eventually regret it!
