I fully respect your egalitarian perspective. I wish everyone who loved Jesus could do so as you do.

It isn't wrong, Daisy. It might even be the best thing you can do to have the attitude that you don't want to change people. I don't want to change people either, but I sometimes would like to help people change some behaviors. It is actually a lot of the violent, unaccepting, non-peaceful behaviors that concern me and I know that helping bring people to peace involves peaceful methods such as the one you are talking about. So- I think there is something very RIGHT about it.

No, it's not wrong. One can talk about religion without being pushy and arrogant. Aggressively attempting to change people's beliefs is usually an exercise in futility, anyhow. Use your own life as a quiet example of your spirituality, instead of parroting religious dogma. I think it's a good idea to refrain from shoving religion down anyone's throat.

It is good you love them...but let me ask you this- if you KNOW that Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to heaven as the Bible says and you believe that- knowing that those who are not saved in Christ will end up in hell- wouldnt you really show that Love by sharing the gospel with them?
That is like having a skin disease and finding out a cure for it- then wanting others who have that disease KNOW THE CURE!
We should love our neighbors and show Love, be lights for Christ Jesus---and that meaning to Share the truth with them! Of course many will not want to hear it- and we must not "cast our pearls before swine" ---we must "Shake the dust from our feet" and move on- As the Bible says- Jesus commands this. Jesus is love and he came to save sinners. He asks us to share his word and gospel--to "snatch them out of the fire"
--THAT IS LOVE--
If your neighbor's house was on fire and they were in it, would you try everything possible to WARN them of that fire? Or would you sit back and hope they would be ok? Would you just "Accept" that their house is on fire and love them anyway?
--I think you would TRY to do everything you could to warn them.

sounds like you have a firm grasp on reality in the respect of finding a teacher that you feel that you can learn from - don't forget that there many teachers out there to learn from and you should always seek knowledge in every corner of reality
-never force a belief on someone else-

Jesus said if you love me, feed my sheep....
How can you believe Jesus is who He said He is and not want to share that with someone you love?
Complacency and silence might be an easier and more comfortable path for you to take...but is it the most loving and truthful one to take?
mibandibee below says it well! Better than I did...

Then, you don't really love them. How can you love them if you are not willing to tell them the truth. How can you love them if it is very likely that you missed a chance to witness to them, therby showing them the gift of eternal llife. Jesus said that he was THE way... not A way.
