Allow me to clear this marketing hoax. I attended a work shop by a leading producer of shampoos and anti dandruff treatments etc and I discovered that they are all the same. Yes, all dandruff shampoos have an active ingridient that temporarily removes dandruff. There is no permanent solution or else they are out of business.
Ill give u an example, H&S is the most famous since P&G made it specialize in treating dandruff, the is the way it is positioned to the consumer who automatically buys it when they want to deal with a dandruff problem. Reality is Pantene anti dandruff has exactly the same ingridients, but they added a different odor to make it smell a bit different and that is it.
Want my advise, go for the cheapest in the market. They are all the same, it is all about marketing.

Are You sure it's dandruff? Dry scalp has the same symptoms, and using dandruff shampoo on dry scalp will make it worse.
Use a good conditioner first. Leave on for 1/2 hour and rinse. If the itching stops, You don't have dandruff.

Tea Tree shampoo by Paul Mitchell Systems. you can get it at most Mall Hair salons. If you use it every day it could dry your hair. I would try it 3 times a week.

neutrogena t-gel it has actuall medicine that helps prevent dandruff and it smells so freaking good

nizoral it has A_D ketoconazole in it. dandruff is usually a fungus...this is anti-dandruff shampoo

actually, there's a cure,
before you wash your hair, apply apple cider vinegar to the roots of your hair, not anywhere else
wash it as normally
should be gone in a week
