Wirehaired Jacks don't shed too bad...but smooth haired Jacks shed like crazy!! I don't know how anyone could say they don't!! I have a Jack so I know. And that person who said Jacks are nasty dogs is rude...Jack Russells are great!

Eddie and Tinker Bell, two wire haired jacks at my mothers house (next door so they visit me often) leave a little hair behind but not much. If they are brushed more often in the Spring they shed even less.

OMG serious? Yeah trust me they do!! Mine sheds a lot! within an hour or her laying on a rug, you can rub your hand over the spot she was on and get a hand full of dog hair...Just dont wear all black!!

all dogs shed. but dogs with jack or similar hair don't shed a lot. that's one reason why they are good inside pets.
