I'm a straight male, love the ladies, and I've found that I look pretty good with a tan. However I work full time so getting the opportunity to head to the beach is scarce. Indoor tanning is much more practical for me, and I don't overdo it- no George Hamilton here.
Ladies my question to you is this. If you just started dating someone and one day you found out that he tans (Not that he outright told you, nor did he deny it when asked)- would your perception of him change?

No, I like a guy that takes an interest in his appearance. I think the key is to not hide it, but not make a big deal of it either.

NO. You are what is now called "Metrosexual" a man who take care of himself but still prefers the ladies. My son tans, and since he works as a contractor, loves to occassionally get a manicure so his hands do not look like claws. If a woman's perception would change because of this maybe you ought to change the woman.

Not for me. It's just that, tans are a little bit overrated and seem to be very materialistic. Try looking for natural beauty verses fake. It's great to see a guy who has confidence in his natural appearance than his store bought one.

Some white women are sexy, but I agree, I hate plastic, fake looking girls. A girl with olive-dark tan skin, deep green eyes, and dark/black hair is exotic to me.

Yes! I know it's wrong but I just don't like the idea of a man going to that extent to look good! Let a man be a man! As long as he's clean and his clothes are decent, that's enough

no becuz it shows that he cares about the way he looks. and that its hard for u to go to the beach and easier for u to go tanning indoors. i think its perfectly cool.

My fiance tans sometimes, and he alwasy looks so good when he does! Besides, who cares, as long as you aren't obsessive about it.
