Ugh...my dog has a thing for cat poop. I have to watch out carefully on walks to make sure he's not snacking. In any case, I have heard that eating poop can mean a diet deficiency. Your 2 year old dog is in adolescence now, heading in to adulthood. His dietary needs may have changed and you should discuss this with your vet....what food, what amount, how many times a day...and if the dog needs supplements for healthy bones. Once you have made sure that she is getting the right nutrition, there are some other things you can do. Your vet might recommend something that will make the poop taste terrible...I have heard pineapple is really tasty to dogs..going in, but there is an enzyme in it that will make the poop taste so nasty the dog won't go for it. But this also may have become a habit that you will only break with constant supervision and redirection. If you see her go for it, correct her but also give her some fabulous treat for leaving it. Lots of work, but if this is tied into the terrible two thing...it will pass. Hope she is OK, good luck.

My rabbit used to do that, it is a sign that they are not getting enough nutrients and so feel they need to continue the cycle round to pick up any nutrients they missed. Make sure that the food is proper approved puppy food that is giving them all the nutrients they need, or this could cause problems in later life. Make sure the food is all identical, as in not different shapes, sizes, colours, tastes, so that your puppy cannot get picky and just eat all his favourites and leave out all the not so nice bits (like a child eating sweets and not sprouts!). Go to your vet if you need any more advice, even the receptionists and veterinary nurses could help you to save booking an appointment and spending the money!

sometimes puppys and adult dogs do that, I work for a vet in boston and what tell our clients to do is put a little worcestershire sauce in with the food. Tastes good goin in, not so good coming out.

Try giving him 'corpophaglia' tablets (it's not the correct 'spelling' per'se) but they have it at Petsmart and its a small tablet that you can give to the dog and soon after that, they wont want to eat their feces anymore. IT WORKS, it worked for my 2 pups1

Some dogs do that. Try cleaning it up right after your dog uses the bathroom.
