A Muslim is no less likely to listen to you than a Christian is, told that the bible is wrong. If you have any lingering doubts that both these works of fiction are full of errancy, you should visit http://www.skepticsannotatedbible.com for a verse by verse & chapter by chapter dismemberment of both the bible and the Qu'uran.

These books were just written as guidance, to cleave to either as the absolute word of a creator is ridiculous. And you should try not to forget that fundamentalism, or interpreting any scripture as though it were absolute, is an American Christian invention that was exported to Muslims. Islam & Christianity have far more in common than most other religions of the world, can't you guys just get along?

what do you mean by wrong? do you mean devoid of spiritual truth? There are muslims who would be very disturbed by this conversation, and there are muslims who would be outraged. just like there are christians who would react differently to a questioning of the bible.

we assume because of the news and television that most muslims are fundamentalists. we also assume that most christians are fundamentalists as well. fundamentalism in all forms should be confronted and challenged. the question should not be "is the bible / quoran etc right or wrong" but what are the valid truths contained in each book.

we need to stop seeing these holy books as a one-time-writing-of-god. they belong to communities of faith coming out of religious experiences that should be honoured. distortion may happen, (even rampantly) and this is why it is neccessary for scholars to look at the historical roots to determine the redactional shaping of the messages contained in all religious literature.

so to answer your question with another question: does anyone "LISTEN" when the foundation of their faith is questioned? look at copernicus and other astronomers. look at darwin. all these people sought to question the way faith interacts with existence and empirical experience, and they were not recieved well.

No...

I don't believe the Quran is on a basis of "right and wrong" like the bible, it's more about "how much of it is right" and focus on that.

No disrespect to any muslims meant, but I look at my bible the same way. How much of it is right, symbolic, or wrong, etc.

I believe that all scriptures (being the torah, the bible and the quran) are all from the mouth of God (or Allah) so it doesn't really matter if they're right or wrong.

Salam,

Allahu Akbar. :)

What I will do as a Muslim ?
I will listen to all of your claims, then I will prove for you that Quran is right.

Bible is not like quran because Allah did not promise to secure bible from altering, so , people altered a lot.

I like your questions , you always think out of the box.
Quran is protected from altering by Allah because it is the final revelation.
