The first year of the Muslim calendar: not when Muhammad was born or became a prophet, but when he became a warlord

"Kill every Jew who comes into your power": why Muhammad became so angry with both Jews and Christians – with disastrous consequences that are still playing out in the world today

Muhammad's child bride – and the terrible consequences his marriage to a nine-year-old still has in the Islamic world

"War is deceit": the permission Muhammad gave his followers to lie in order to gain an advantage over their enemies
How Muhammad broke the principal treaty he entered into, again setting a pattern for Muslim states thereafter
Muhammad's commands to his followers to wage perpetual war against non-Muslims, including Jews and Christians
Muhammad on women's rights: women "are prisoners with you having no control of their persons"
"If justice is not to be found with me then where will you find it?" Why Muhammad still stands for Muslims as the supreme model for human behavior
"I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula, and will not leave any but Muslims" – and other statements by Muhammad that contemporary jihadists take very seriously
Islamic tolerance? The onerous tax burden and other discriminatory regulations mandated for non-Muslims under Islamic law
How Muhammad ordered the killing of apostates from Islam
The massacre of a Jewish tribe by Muhammad that was invoked by modern-day jihadists at the beginning of Israel's July 2006 operations against Hizballah in Lebanon
"Embrace Islam, and your lives and property will be safe": Muhammad's threatening letters to the rulers of the lands around Arabia
Muhammad's frequent avowals that the Muslims would overcome the empires bordering on Arabia and one day stand as masters of the world

Most of the ex-muslims in my observation were probably the first ones to adopt Islam when their ancestors found Muslims in power. Some things do get in your genes. Now that Muslims are under pressure a lot of such folks abandon Islam, but they were not worth having to begin with. Sorry to be blunt about this.
I will never abandon Islam, Allah willing as it is the ONLY RELIGION that has the back bone to stand up to the tyrants of the World and gives you the confidence to face the most powerful without fear and teaches you the right amount of isolence that is needed to fight the tyrants. Judaism used to have the same qualities, but with time it seems to have lost some of its edge.
Knowledge of Islam in what way? I love the laws of Islam which are based on justice and mercy. I love the concept of ONE LORD, so that one humanity may emerge out of that belief one day and peace shall reign.
I have no insecurities. I sleep in peace knowing my Lord is in control of the world and can subjugate any tyrant at any time and everyone has been given limited time to do their thing.
Islam all rise and everyone who is decent will one day understand and accept Islam. People who convert out of fear are not worth converting in any case. They are the first to leave when the fear is reversed.
May the Lord guide you. I had issues with Islam when I was younger. but thankfully I got powerful answers that totally satisfied me. I used to hate four wives, jihad, forced conversions, abuse of women, slavery etc. I found out I misunderstood Islam so totally that it was not funny. I was a victim of propaganda on one part and a victim or misunderstanding in the other part. May be that is your case too.
If you are whimpering out of Islam, I do not care to convince you. But if you have genuine questions, I will be happy to discuss things with you.
Islam shall live for ever...like it or not!! Allahu Akbar!!

I think it is probably US troops in uniform walking around with loaded weapons that has the region on edge at the moment...
I think Iran, for example, has probably based their nuclear program more on the potential for US involvement in Iranian internal politics than on conflicting interpretations of the Q'uran.

to call your self something except a MUSLIM, is quickly adversarial to the classes of the Quran. as we talk, Muslims proudly call themselves a sunni, shia, maliki, shaffi, ehl-e-hadees and so on. it is what divides the religion into sects. all of them say they are nevertheless muslims yet they belong to a particular college of idea...or in easy words, a member of a sect. shall we see what Allah has to say about this: Surah Al-Imran (3:103) “carry quick, all of you, to the cord of Allah and be no longer divided…” Surah Al-Anam (6:159) “certainly, those who've made divisions of their deen and grew to change into into factions, you've no longer something to do with them. Their case rests with Allah on my own, then he will tell them what they have been doing.” Who replaced into the prophet? Did he belong to a sect? replaced into he a sunni? No..he replaced into only a MUSLIM. in the 6:159 above, Allah (swt) has pretty addressed the Prophet (pbuh) by technique of ordering him that he has no connection or relation in any way with all of us who identifies him or herself as a faction of the deen that Allah has ordained for Muslims. It might want to be talked about right here that this deen or judgment isn't something notwithstanding the Quran itself. This deen comes from the Quran on my own and not in any respect by ability of the different source. We extra examine in Surah As-Sajdah (40-one:33) “Who might want to be extra constructive in words than the single which calls in course of Allah, and acts righteously and says, i'm a Muslim” This verse obviously says that the righteous are those who call themselves a MUSLIM or are between the MUSLIMEEN. no longer sunni, shia, shafi, maliki and Allah is familiar with what else. The sunnah of the prophet is in the Quran. The hadith books furnish contradictory narrations about the prophet and in my opinion, are literally not solid. enable us all follow the Quran.
