Jesus trusted the scriptures and he believed that Moses wrote the "Pentateuch" -the first five books of the bible. However, Modern biblical scholarship reveals that Moses could not have written them.

This begs the question: how could the Son of God could be ignorant of holy scripture when presumably it was the literal word of God? Is this not then proof that Jesus either isnt the Son of God, or the Bible isnt the word of God??

Can only be one or the other - choice is up to you....

I think he never existed and the people that made it up didn't know what the hell they were talking about.

No, there is a third choice. Jesus said I am the son of god - and he also said we are all children of god. The 3rd choice is that both these statements are true and Jesus was just like you and me and still a divine being (just like you and me). So much of the bible tells us that we are divine and have the same powers and abilities that Jesus does - it is the religious leaders that tell us otherwise.

Peace!

Once again, Satan will deceive many, causing them to misinterpret what the Bible says! This is sad....but God does tell us who believe it will happen....

Luke 10:22
All things have been handed over to me by my Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, or who the Father is except the Son and anyone to whom the Son chooses to reveal him."

John 5:22
The Father judges no one, but has given all judgment to the Son,

1 John 2:23
No one who denies the Son has the Father. Whoever confesses the Son has the Father also.

John 10:30 "I and the Father are One" --Jesus speaking

Anyone who believes the bible is the literal word hasn't done their homework or for that matter, knows nothing of themselves. Light dissolves darkness. I AM . S

That is untrue, Jesus merely referred to the books commonly known as the Laws of Moses.

Twas not Jesus who was ignorant, it was the people around Him. He just used a reference they knew of, in the same way He said that He had to speak in parables because if He spoke plainly no one would understand Him lol.

In that case, I choose the Word of God over "Modern biblical scholarship" :)
