A "Mormon" is a nickname for a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

The term Mormon was first used in modern times in the 1830s to describe those who believed that Joseph Smith, Jr. had been called as a prophet of God, and who accepted the Book of Mormon as scripture.
Mormons are anti-Christian and oppose every Christian doctrine. It is no different than Satanism and with the same emphasis - being your own god rather than worshipping the Creator.
The Mormon temple god is Lucifer, who is the devil/spirit brother of the Mormons. The Mormon god "the Father" is Satan's father - a man who supposedly exalted himself to godhood and is a polygamist on some far away planet near "Kolob". Lucifer has the priesthood that Mormons invoke in their secret temple rituals. The Mormon temples are designed with occultic symbols like pentagrams and inverted pentagrams but never a Christian cross.
The Mormons are very involved with contact with the dead. They have baptisms for the dead, their doctrines are revelations from the dead, their Book of Mormon comes from the dead, they marry the dead, do geneology research on the dead, etc., etc.
Mormonism is the most corrupt claim to Christianity that you can imagine.

I better not get into this one- But I will say that Mormonism is a cult- All you need to do is look at what they believe and see if that is what the Bible says....And its not. Many cults will use scripture to lure someone into its "relegion" but then the scripture gets twisted and they mess with it and add to it. Mormons believe a lot of crazy and twisted things that are NOT of God...there is a good website about Cults and what they believe and what the Bible says to show that they do not line up with Biblical Truth.
