I teach a class of 2 year olds at a preschool. I was wondering if anyone knew of any simple activities or crafts we could do on each of their birthday's? I want to keep it simple though.

we used to make murals that said happy birthday in the middle and then everyone was allowed to draw a picture (mainly a huge poster)... the birthday child could bring in their favorite book and you read it to the class...
handprints on the wall? (if your school allows that)

you can always sing happy birthday. maybe let the birthday kid wear a special hat or something. All little kids love finger painting, maybe they could all paint cards for the birthday kid or something like that.
