Christians, since Deuteronomy orders the killing of gays...

"20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."

and adulterers...

"22:22 If a man be found lying with a woman married to an husband, then they shall both of them die, both the man that lay with the woman, and the woman"

Is it a good thing that the government of Saudi Arabia executes gays and adulterers just as the bible describes? Are those silly secular humanists wrong to condemn Saudi Arabia for their "human rights violations" when they are merely exercising the law of god?

Actually Saraahlang... (did I get your name right?), homosexuality is still punishable by death in Saudi Arabia, not in most Muslim countries, but it is in Saudi Arabia.

What most people fail to realize is that there are alot of Christians living in Saudi Arabia. There are Arab Christians too!!!! And the practice of killing homosexuals is no longer practiced in Saudi. Just like the burning of witches is no longer practiced in America. I love the point that your making though!!! I'm anxious to see how Christians will respond to it!!!!

It does seem that the Christian right wants the United States to turn into a Christian version of Saudi Arabia. That's a terrible shame, and I think obviously the biggest threat that the United States faces.

For all his bluster about protecting Americans, Bush hasn't done a damned thing to stop the Christian right. Quite the opposite, in fact. He doesn't seem to care at all about the United States.

Good question....if god is so forgiving then i why can't the government forgive as well...well i believe it is very wrong to condemn gays or adulterers because then they would be judging on the behalf of god wouldn't they..it is very wrong to take such actions on a act that doesn't really hurt the human kind....the action that is committed is not justified by death....it is too severe a action..

You will have to excuse WAKE UP obnoxious babbling she forgot to take her meds today...i forgot to remind him that's there is no cure for stupid

Hmmm. Yeah, I think the Saudi's are not on a positive mode here. I kinda think killing anyone for their behavior is kinda stupid. And I question the sanity of anyone who takes the side of religious whackos, don't you? I kinda like the USA culture of people living their own life with lotsa freedom as long as they don't, like hurt someone - such as all that needless killing that goes on in that Godless territory known as the Near East - like Iraq where the nutcases just keep killing, killing, killing and killing. I don't know, kinda makes one think that maybe they know something we in this great American Culture don't know - best in the world - like maybe killing neighbors because someone in a book or a scroll written thousands of years ago said go kill 'em. Gosh, you make me think. Thanks.

Jesus, forgave the adulterous woman.

Jesus accepted punishment and death to forgive all sin. Key word ALL.

Jesus made it clear in several passages that judgement should be left to God.

Jesus bestowed all humans with the only true human rights: life and the ability to choose.

Follow jesus, promote life and allow people to choose.

you know what...I also heard it is an abomination to eat shellfish...we should destroy all seaside communities and red lopsters!!!

Also, you are alowed to stone your children is they are disobediant and will never amount to anything. Let's line'em up.

You start killing gays, they'll start killing people who enjoy alaskan snow crab.

You take one thing literally out of the bible, you take it all!!!!!!!!!!

Nice question.

There must be 4 witnesses who see in their eyes the sex operation with no doubt.

If three witnesses come and claim that they have seen it by their own eyes , then they will not be believed and they will be punished and will be called liars.

Since 1400 years hardly you can find a cases with 4 witnesses satisfying this criteria. So, relax please.
