If you're guy is just really friendly, it's hard to tell. But look for signs of nervousness when he's around you or lack of care.

As a guy I'm kinda like helping the enemy with this. But with dudes it's pretty easy to tell. Just look out for any noticeable changes in behavior. If you notice for instance that he is dedicating a lot more time to other things and not you, be suspicious. If you ask him about somethign and he tries to change the subject right away, be suspicious. With some guys all you have to do is ask them and they will break down and tell you the truth. That easily.

if he makes up the lamest excuses about what he's been doing and where he's been you tell when a person is lying to you you can see rigth trough them
