Has anyone ever had one? Does it hurt a lot? Is there anything I can do to ease the pain before having it done?

The first time hurts the most because it's the unexpected. Every time after that isn't as bad as long as you have an experienced technician doing it.

I have had a brazilian before, and you feel so soft and smooth after - it's so worth it!

How do I put this delicately...they start on the outer part, and work their way in. The inner area hurts much more than the outer, and yes it does hurt...but luckily, only for a moment. You can phone ahead of time and ask if there is anything you can do before hand. Sometimes, before getting your eyebrows or upper lip done, aestheticians commonly tell you to take an aspirin or Ibuprofin before coming in (especially if it's a week before your period). You could try that, that might help. But don't worry, it hurts once it's been ripped off, but the pain doesn't last.
