Ok. I've been in the dating game for quite awhile and I think guys and girls know what time it is when you get that 2am phone call right? This guy I know who I have had "relations" with in the past called me at 2 am and left me a VM saying he just wanted to see how I'm doing. Well I was out with friends and didn't get the message until the next morning. When I called him back the next day and asked him what he wanted "Hint Hint Wink Wink" He said he was just seeing how I was. (Ok then) SOOO a day later I'm thinking the rules of engagement can work both ways, I told him I was going to drop by for a little while and hang out. It's about 8pm on Sunday. He's like cool. When I get to his house Nothing happens! He tries nothing. When I brought it up he sounded appalled like how could I dare be thinking about that. Needless to say I left. Well here is my question. If you miss the phone call can you rain check it for another day or is the mood gone?

LOLOLO! I'm just asking. We haven't spoken since the incident but I just figured what the heck. My mood is gone cause he acted like I was so horrible for bringing it up. I was like excuse me!! Like he hasn't iniated things the last couple of times.
If he didn't feel like it he could have just said so, not make me feel like some sort of jezebel.

Sweet_Meg you are right he could have really just wanted to talk. I don't see why that couldn't have happened 8 hours earlier around 6pm and why he only wanted to speak under the influence. I'll never know,. As I stated we aren't really speaking now.

...Of course the mood IS gone ! You cannot raincheck that amourous feeling from that particular nite. It would be embarassing for the chaser to admit they were horny. I would feel it very hot compliment, like my ex put it: to be desireable after the relationship is over was hot for her. You can put out the compliment next time....butt it has to be later in the nite not early....and wear something naughty....because guys er we are very visually aware.

Well, a rain check exists only if there was an offer on the table to begin with, which it sounds like there may not have been. But that doesn't mean a new offer can't be extended. But in the end, if he's just a booty call, do you really care? Booty calls are so readily available you shouldn't have to worry about whether you get a 2nd chance with this one.

well first of all....just bc he called at 2 in the morn doesn't mean that he wanted a piece.......he may have truly been drunk and wanted to see how you were, bc he was drunk and thought 'hey i haven't chatted with her for a while, i will see how she is doing', and he may have been appalled at the fact that you assumed he wanted your ***, instead of trying to see how you were as friends. My ex calls me all the time at 2 in the morn just to say hi......now if he asked you to come over thats very different
