I recently had a guy put our relationship on hold. He said he didn't have time to devote to the relationship that I deserved to have devoted to it, and that I was encouraged to seek out more accessable men. That if and when his plate was not so full and if I was still available maybe we could start again. So understand my confusion??

ive given that excuse many times before. and he just feels bad that he cant be a true boyfriend and like he said devote him self to you. For some guys they feel that if they cant put 100% effort into a relationship whats the point of even having one. On the other hand he is putting himself in a bad way by saying its ok to look for other guys out there. Because it usually seems at the time he is ready for a realtionship and be totally devoted to you you have just gotten into this other guy. It will kill him inside. i would just make sure thats what he truely wants to do. if that is what he really wants you shouldnt sit around waiting you have a life of your own u must live.

He's seeing someone else, and he let you down easy or is on the way to seeing someone else, anyhow at least he had the decency to stop your relationship and not full around on you.
Then again he could just be a work alcoholic, or relationships aren't the top of his priority's at the present.

Hate to tell ya, but he's never coming back.
Wanted to break it off, but didn't have the guts to be honest about it, so he does it in a way that will make you want to seek out other guys and hook up with one, that way he is off the hook.

its either he really thinks that u deserve more time than he's giving but really loves u or is tired of u but doesnt have the balls to tell u what i'lld say start up another relationship so he doesnt catych u unaweres
