It could be that your body is rejecting it- that has been known to happen, it could also be that your piercer didn't use as much skin in the first place. Does it look shallower than it did when it was done? If you can tell, that should be your best indication if it's getting pushed out- or keep an eye on it from now on- you'll notice if it's getting pushed out.

This is a bit disgusting, but the same thing happened to me, it grew further out until the piece of skin holding the bar in was only a few millimetres thick - it didn't hurt at all and wasn't infected just went bit dry. I was doing something and the bar pulled out, the last bit of skin split and I was left with 2 skin flaps. It bled a bit and was uncomfortable but it healed quickly.
I had it redone about a year later and has been fine ever since! Would say, take it out if grows too far out as it is the ripped skin that takes longest to heal.

No it is not pushing the bar out. If this was happening then the holes would be elongating. The swelling may have gone down and it just looks smaller. If you get a splinter in your skin your body will push it out of the hole in entered through - by becoming infected and rupturing thereby washing the foreign object out with the pus. Cool Huh?

unlikely unless you let it get so messy and infected the tissue is all too soft to hold it. Mine is small too - they haven't done it right

looks such as you purely annoyed it. If it became being rejected or migrating, it may be getting closer to the floor floor, and the floor could look actual skinny. you would be great.
