OOO thats tough I'm married and I know my hubby gets mad with me about my spending habits. Just have a talk with her about it. Tell her she needs to realize that you aren't rich and you need to save money.

Let her know that you are worried about your financial situation and want to sit and do a budget and talk things over. Don't cut her off completely from spending, but instead allow each of you an allowance and once it is gone then that is it until next payday. Let her know how stressful this is for you and that you are worried about all the money that is being spent. Don't do the blame game. Ask her for her opinion. Some peole just love to shop and have a problem when it comes to spending too much money. This can become an addiction. Either you nip this in the bud now or wind up going bankrupt and ruining your credit in the future because of her spending habits. Something has to be done. If you choose not to step up to the plate then you will have to live with that choice and reap the consequences of your actions.

Talk first and then take action if she won't stop.If it's cards cut them up.Don't be surprised if she tries to get new ones. This can be an ugly addiction. Some people buy because it gives them a high.If it's that serious she needs counseling.
