it doesn't. i watered my plants with filtered, mineral and tap water, no difference. but i heard they dont grow with water that been warmed in microwave

Too many chemical compounds. My mom constantly insisted that water be left for some days in an open field to permit the chlorine to deplete. mom died 6 years in the past, and that i nevertheless try this.
