No, the truth, whatever that may be will be revealed. You will experience a life review and experience the happiness and sadness you brought to others. You'll learn and then you will understand we are all connected and part of the universe. God only has love for us, he doesn't have an ego, and he gave you free will. Maybe you have been kinder and more loving to others than "believers"! He wants all of us back...we'll know more when we get there...but it won't be eternal tortures!

Great question!!

Excellent way to get answers that make Fundamentalist Christians seem like Islamic Fundamentalists.

I don't begrudge anyone their faith or beliefs but it always rubbed me the wrong way when a guy knocks on my door early in the morning trying to save me from hell if only I would just accept Jesus Christ as my lord and savior.

Jesus was too kind to not show compassion.

It's those fruity nutcakes that warped his teachings after the fact that worry me.

Lead a good life.

Since I only believe in the possibility of a God (and that we, humbly, can not know either way for sure), and do not believe in Heaven or Hell (or other Christian dogma for that matter) then, NO, I don't think this will be occuring.

You, on the other hand, ARE going to the Hell you believe in for not being very Christ-like.

No. The brain will cease to function from lack of oxygen, water or nutrition and then proceed to decompose along with the body. Consciousness will be lost and the 'essential' you, the electrical you will be gone forever. You can 'believe' what you like but nothing, absolutely nothing will stop this from happening to you, or to anyone else, or to all the animals, birds and fishes and bugs.

Hell hasn't started yet. and won't start until Jesus comes the third time. See revelation, and forever means until completely consumed, not forever and ever and ever. "sodom and Gommorah burned with eternal fire" yet they are said to be underneath the dead sea today. They are not still burning, they were burned up just like sinners will one day be.

No, agnostics will cease to be aware upon death, just like everyone else.

Why would we? For having the integrity to admit that no one could possibly know the truth of God, and seek wisdom instead of propaganda. If that is evil then I guess so.
