A Christian is someone who acknowledges that Jesus Christ existed and believes that he died to take the punishment for all the wrong that humans do. By doing this he basically formed a bridge for anyone who believes in him to cross from this world into the next after death. An account of his life and teachings are found in the New Testament and Christians live their lives accordingly.

A Christian is a person who believes in God the Father Almighty. Tries to walk the straight and narrow, all the time. Has great Respect for others, including all cultures on how they live and what they believe in. Do not push our weight around and force values on others . Help the needy and feed the hungry. Think Positive and try not to be negative, Give Thanks all the time that our Spirit , within always uses the wisdom instilled in us. Be good to our neighbors. Hopefully , our neighbors, will be good to us. Stick up for what is right. Defend our Nation. Stand behind our Great Leader of this USA. Be a Spiritual Warrior. I Love that title. Fight against crime and especially child abuse. Protect our children. Treat animals decently. Worship in the House of the Lord. A Christian is what God wants us to be. Strive for it. Ask and Ye Shall Recieve and then Give Thanks Unto the Lord !!!

A christian is a person recognized as a person who is Christ like. Anyone can call themselves a Christian and say they believe in salvation, but you shall know them by the fruits of the spirit that they bear.

If you are a Christian then you need not profess it for your actions will justify your beliefs!
Sincerely,

Galatians 5:22-26

Life by the Spirit

Be the fruit of the Spirit by having love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things is no law. Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. Since we live by the spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

My opinion doesn't matter.....we can't make up our own list of Christian Characteristics....B/c you can be a good person, but if you don't put your FAITH in Jesus, you ain't got nothing. All I know is that there are people who know and love God, but they don't put the FAITH in God to change their life and trust Him to deliver from the struggles in their life. They make excuses and try to justify their wrongs to be more acceptable by others or theirselves.

A Jew that believes that God came down from heaven in the form of a man to take our sins aways and redeem us from eternal damnation in Sheol(hell). They read both the New and Old Testaments, but are directed and corrected from Jewish Age doctrine by the New Testament. Christians, like me, believe that one day Jesus will come back down from heaven in the Second Advent and rule over the world for a thousand years after the Great Tribulation.

Someone who is a footstep follower of christ, it's not enough to say you are a christian, being a christian involves our whole way of life.

I found the following link very good.

Hope this helps.

A christian is a follower of Christ. Christians are described as Christ-like people. Having a mind like christ. but people throughout the age will use this name for their own Agenda instead of Christ.

someone who knows that they were created by God. He created us to share his love, and gave us free will so that we could CHOOSE eternity, and not be forced into it like robots. He died for our sins, because we are impure and cannot enter a pure place unless we are cleansed. A Christian is someone who has faith, and does not rely on man-made traditions and their actions. a christian knows that it is their HEART that matters, not their actions. a christian believes in the bible, and not ancient traditions.

My opinion is not the real issue. God's opinion is the one that matters. Can we always tell either by our opinion or observation? God alone sees what is in the human heart.

all4God,
A Christian is a Christian because he/she believe's that he/she is a sinner, and needs God's grace. Grace means unmerited favor. That means you don't deserve the awaiting gift that God has for you, but He will give it to you anyway.

Our text comes from the Bible first. So let me show you a verse:
Romans 1:5
I received God's grace because of what Jesus did so that I could bring glory to him.

That's in line to what I have been telling you. It's not earned, it's what Jesus did that earned it.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

We all have sinned, and fallen short of His standard of perfection. But we are justified in His eyes through the work of Jesus.

Look up "propitiation." That's what Jesus was able to accomplish through no mistake.

So what makes me different to those who merely say, " I beleive in God."?
It's faith. But what definition of faith am I using? ( Remember to always look up words, even if you think that you understand them.)
Faith, as I have learned it, is: An action, based upon belief, sustained by confidence.
So it is not just simply believing, there's action involved.
Example:
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.

The action, belief, and confidence are within that verse. True faith, and that's what makes you saved. You have to trust God. It's all about Jesus, you have to trust Jesus.
