Nine bonnie babies packed in a shell.
Grew in a garden close by a well.
Nine bonnie babies tucked in so tight.
Grew tired of the darkness. Longed for light.
What are we doing here stuck here like this?
When along came a little girl.
Popped open the pod and ate us all up
With the greatest of ease.
This is all that I know of this poem.
Can any one help with details of the writer or where it came from
or any correctionsplease?
