I'm a guy and I bought some moccasins at a powwow similar to these:

I've been wearing them to bed because they are really comfortable, and if I need to get up in the night, they offer some protection. But is wearing them all night a bad thing? I don't wear them with socks, so will my feet turn colors or somthing?

Wow, those moccasins are the bomb.
I've never seen anything like them before.
They are so unusual.
You can't even get them anywhere, I bet.
Are they custom one of a kind??

Do you know whether or not you can sleep in them?
Wow.

Your feet could turn colors, this will depend on how the leather was tanned, or if it was died. If you normally have cold feet, it could be a good idea to wear them, as for no socks, the moccasin was designed with out socks in mind. Pluse socks are not really a good idea to wear at night because they can reduce blood flow in the feet. they fit to tightly on many people's feet, and with out movement compress blood flow in the feet, which can cause trouble in later life. Just make sure your moccasin's fit loose enough to wear the way your using them!

Yes your feet may turn colours, because moccassins don't have linings, it's double face leather. European countries have now strict regulations over banning harmful chemicals used in dying leathers. So if it's a european owned brand, it will probably not contain any harmful chemicals even if it's produced in China. Yes i would say you may wear your moccassins to bed from time to time, but not always. And better wear them once in two nights, because genuine leather needs to be aired for one day. Sorry for my english, hope you understood me..

If this is your biggest worry in life, you must have a charmed existence. If you are sleeping alone, I'm not sure that it matters, except for the moisture that might collect inside the moccasin and cause foot disease. But if you are sleeping with someone, please remove them and take a shower out of respect.

Well you can, but I don't think you should. Your feet need air. You ware socks and shoes most of the day I 'm sure, so you need to air your feet out at night. Your feet sweat.

You can sleep with them on if you prefer...if your feet don't sweat and you are ok and sleep better with them on...go for it! Why not add a headband, feathers and a make some colorful beads....You will have super dreams and travel to far away places and hopefully you will return!
