How do I add writings to a picture from my floppy disk?

I would like to dd a text besides the picture or underneat but in the same box, like a greeting card. Can I do that, or do I need a special program? I have a laptop and windows 98. - 2000

Floppy drives are SO LAST YEAR!!! My mac doesn't use a floppy drive even though i could perhaps use an external one (if I wanted to). If you have text to download from a floppy, save it as a pdf or other such file and, in Edit, you should be able to copy/paste selected passages, that you highlight, from the pdf to whatever other files you are creating, be it greetings cards or whatever. I don't think 'drag and drop' would work, but try anyway. That's how I learned what little I know: by trial and error.
