I got side bangs about 6 months ago. They go towards the right side of my face. I have been bothered by them getting in my face when I am writing though (I lean my head left when I type; therefore, the bangs I have that fall to the right of my face end up falling to the left and getting in my face). I do not want to grow them out because I really like them, so I considered moving them so they would fall to the left of my face. However, they will not go in that direction! I don't know how to explain it, but they dont sit properly and they insist on falling to the right side of my face (even when wet, so it's not like an issue where they are "stuck" ha.). Does anyone know why this is and how I can fix it?

it 's hard to explain, but the same thing happens to me. answer:
if you part your hair at the front (near your bangs) and try to gel it that way, it might work. or, you'll have to train your hair, which is NOT easy. as soon as your done with a shower, part it to where all
your bangs stay on one side of your face.
best of luck

Your bangs should hang to the side your hair naturally parts on and if that is the right side they will look better on that side. Try using some hair spray or pin them back when you need to.

When hair is wet... apply setting lotion as if you were going to roller set hair, and sit under try.

Then comb hair to the left, or desired side.... and take pin curl clips, and pin.

Let try.

you may have to do this nightly, to train hair to go to left now.

good luck.

You can pin them around your ear with a bobby pin or mousse to keep the length but out of your face.
