I been taking ambien for a month and it makes me feel dizzy and see things that aren't there is this normal?

yes it is normal with a lot of short acting sleepers. The trick is to take the drug then go right to bed. Make sure that you have at least 6 hours in front of you to sleep before you take one. Try to get off them as soon a possible. Use them to help you set a pattern of going to sleep at the same time each night if that is possible. They really do not work well long term.

You should only take ambien right before bed. I've been taking 10mg ambien for 2 years and have not had any hallucinations. Talk to your doctor immediately.

I felt like i was surrounded by pillows. One of the side effects is dizziness. You need to let your healthcare provider know.

Unfortunately yes. I have a friend who says she was at her gas stove and the pilot light turned into a little dancing fireman, complete with hat!
