Do you miss having your fringe a foot high and solid with hairspray? Do you miss your afro comb and the constant backcombing that had to be done? and is your diffuser now lonely and redundant at the back of the airing cupboard..

Ha ha...me and my friends talk about this all the time. I can't wait for big hair to come back. I am gonna have the biggest, fluffiest, spiral-permed, bleached-blond cotton-candy lookin' puffiest mess you've ever seen. (FYI: I'm 31. In my grade 11 yearbook, my hair was too big to fit in the picture.) I hated everything else about the 80's....the clothes & the music were freakin AWFUL. But I really miss the hair.

Personlly I don't think I would get a perm! In the 80's my sister was always perming her hair and as a result ended up with permanatly frizzy hair which she now has to straighten every day, whereas me who has never permed my hair am left with lovely straight hair!

I have a feeling that the perm will come back in a few years though! But I reckon that it will have a modern touch to it just in the same way that the mullet came back but with a more modern edge to it!

No, just like I never got one then even though it meant I was the only girl in my class (think I was about 10 at the time) without one. And do you remember long hair but with short straight spikes on the top? Thank god I never went for that one either. My biggest hair disaster was the bowl cut but as I was only 5 I didn't have much choice.

I have never nor will I ever wasted money chasing the lastest fashion trends. I buy clothes when I NEED them. I do NOT listen to some talking head that tells people they need this & that to be trendy. Why waste the money on TRENDS when they are out just as fast as they are in????

Nope, I firmly believe that if you are old enough to have worn a fashion once, you should leave it alone the second time around or risk looking dated and sad not trendy.

Never! What were we thinking in the 80's? Terrible hair, horrible clothes, loud colors, yuck!

Heavens, no. And...I am really glad that guys don't seem to get them anymore, at least that I have noticed. We sure did have a few laughs over some of those looks, though.
