I've dopped out of optional education because I wasn't completely satisfied, among other courses. Is there any British courses/jobs that would suit me? (I'm into creative writing and such). I'm 16 so I'm not entitled to a huge number of jobs. If you know of anywhere in the Midlands, that'd be great. I don't need a definite answer as such, just a background.

Not familiar with the British system, but maybe a trade school in something you like, i.e. be a carpenter, cook, etc. Or, you can pick up a part time job and write a book...I encourage you get an education though because it will be far better for your future earnings, and you will have so many more opportunities, good luck to you.

I apologize for the rudeness of some people on this site. I'm not familiar with the British educational system, but in the U.S. there are some community colleges that have programs that help people finish their high school education. Then you can go on to take courses that would lead to a career in some area.

I'm glad you want to continue. If you want to write, you can pursue that while working on your education. Good luck to you.

I worked on a cruise ship for years with a lot of peaople who were kind of taking a break from school, etc... I suggest something like that. I fun, you will see a lot and it just might inspire you to write a book about it.
