Whilst reading your question I was laughing because my boy dog really tries to do this - problem is although he is a jrt/doberman cross and thinks he is crotch height he is only able to reach their knees unless he jumps up which he isn't allowed to do! Whilst I know you just ask these questions for effect this is not an unheard of situation.
If you want your dog to sniff your bits all the time - then certainly put some tasty bits in your pockets. Be careful with savory pastries though - he might start eating the sausage.
By the way one of the answers asks who uses whilst - who doesn't is what I want to know?

Ah, the infamous Doggy Sniffing Incident. Happens to us all. When my beloved shepherd puppy met my mother-in-law, a tiny, delicate lady, puppy went up her flowing, gauzy skirt like a guided missle, and emitted a loud "Snort!" that could be heard down the block.
For your dog, pits, crotches, etc. are, indeed, special - they're like CNN.
Maybe your new friend isn't an experienced dog person, in which case she's embarrassed by what happened and taking it personally (BTW, if your dog absolutely won't give it a rest, your friend probably needs to see a doctor, but that's another story).
What you need to do is start teaching your dog how to greet people. Have you taught him to sit on command? If not, it's time (there are lots of good videos out there for positive reinforcement training, if you can't make an obedience class, which would be your best bet). Always carry treats - lots of them in little bits. When you approach someone, tell your dog to "sit" and "wait."
After a few seconds, give him a treat and let him up. After a moment, put him in "sit" and "wait" again. Over time, lengthen the "wait" until you can have a short conversation with him sitting. Whenever he aims for a crotch, put him in "sit wait."
We can't teach our dogs not to be interested in what, for them, is a speaker blaring all the gossip about your new acquaintance. We can, however, teach them to listen to it discreetly.
Maybe your new lady friend will be appeased if you explain that you're training your dog, and ask her to help you by standing with you and chatting while you put your dog into "sit wait." Good luck!

Walking dogs seems to be a nice way for single guys to meet a lot of single women . I would walk with the dog again. If you walk your dog always in that same park, why change. If you happen to see the same woman again flip the dog thing into your favor by making a funny joke or comment about it, but don't dwell on it too much. But do try to keep your dog under control. Keep him distracted with treats if you have to while you talk to her.

Her 'special area' has a name, crotch is a good one. The fact you can't bring yourself to say it and don't have the where withall to stop a dog sniffing a womans ***** means you probably are one, and that woman realised it, and made her escape.
Get rid of the dog and get a cat. You sad old woman

Treats. Take him with you. You have an apology to give, and a beautifully risque one at that. You're set up. Go get the prize. Be charming, terribly embarrassed, but not flustered.

Hey your dog was probably telling you that she was giving off those pheromones that says she attracted to you. Take your dog again next time, because he can give you a hint also you won't look like you are just out stalking.

Perhaps your doggie is smarter than you, and suspected something not quite right or something fairly fresh with Ms Amazing. If you want to risk it, treats are probably your best bet.
