Because it's easier to follow your own guidelines for how to discipline etc. Also your own kids just seem a hell of a lot cuter and better behaved after dealing with someone else's for a while. It's harder to tell them to just knock it off or go play than it is to tell your own kid when they bug you, 'cause then they think they gotta snitch to their parents and make it sound a lot worse, which then reflects on you. Trying not to get annoyed so much zaps lots of energy.

because the love(energy) we give our children comes from within and replentishes itself--unconditional love

while the ones taken or given by us needs to be replentished conciously----do white light meditation--that might help

just the joys and thrills of parenthood. others can be wonderful but can wear one out but ones own are a continuation of ones family not someone Else's.
