try autotrader.com for a used one. If you ask me the Tacomas are the best bar none - that is me though. With the 2 kids, you got to get the double cab. The extended cab is only good for temporary fixes.

Trucks are for working and construction. They were not meant for carrying families or kids. Besides, they are to risky. (Doesn't matter if u drive a Tacoma, Silverado, F-150, Tundra, Etc...).

If you want safety, comfort, and something for the kids to enjoy, buy a Subaru Legacy, Forester, Outback. 5 star crash test rating. Symetricall all wheel drive. www.subaru.com

For a single mother with children you better get something dependable.May i suggest a toyota? Tundra would be a very nice smart choice.Your truck will last forever with trouble free operation

it depends on what you want, but being a single mom with two children I would thing that something like a jeep liberty would be right up your ally, first of all you don't have to worry about anything gettin wet and second of all the jeep wil get better gas millage and is alto more sure footed it is all around a better choice.

my opinon i think that a tundra might be a good choice. the tacoma might be a little to small unless you get the 4-door one. but then it comes down to what can you afford. good luck
