has anyone ever taken the 7 day Carnival Pride cruise from Port of Long Beach to Mexico and if so how was it?

We are taking the Pride on this itinerary on Nov 12. This is the first time I have sailed the Pride, but have been on the Valor and it should be as nice. I have done the itinerary twice.
All in all...For the price...it is a wonderful vacation
I do prefer an Eastern Caribbean itinerary for nicer water and beaches.
It is much easier for us to get to Long Beach.
I highly suggest you take a balcony. Otherwise it is like a parking lot view or view of a wall, versus an ocean view balcony. Who would go to a resort hotel and stay in crap accommodations?
Expect...Beautiful diningroom. Hustle Hustle Hustle to sell you artwork, jewelry, etc..etc on the ship. What they sell low in price is made up in salesmanship.

No not me personally, i would not take a cruise anywhere. Don't you see the news. it seems like someone is always disappearing on those cruise ships, never to be heard from again. Good luck and God bless

Yes i have and it was very exciting aslongas you are not sea sick but otherwise it is cool
