Totally bogus. Eggs do not change to poison after 7. Must be some Romanian wives tale.

This is mildly humorous -- reading into the question, there is no possible way to answer. I mean really --- after 7pm eggs become poisonous? I guess that means you cannot eat eggs ever --- which 7pm did they become poisonous -- was that yesterdays 7pm or was it 30 years ago at 7pm --- anything beyond any previous 7pm is "after" 7pm no matter which way you look at it. Maybe this means that each evening they become poisonous? I never heard such a tale and I've never came across any eggs that were on a time schedule. Never got sick from any at any time.

human beings have very somewhat forgotten the tidal tension of the moon and sunlight. As we orbit the sunlight and the moon orbits the earth, forces are set up in liquid water. An egg includes an excellent form of water. As night falls and the suns impact wanes, tension that develop into on the mushy interplay between the protein albumin and the water is disrupted. This varieties a chemical chain reaction that consequences in the egg turning out to be fairly risky. in the west refrigeration helps to attempt by contrast as chilly decreases the thermal power of all molecules - they're much less susceptible to bypass aside no count number what the sunlight is doing. In romania, human beings have much less refrigerators and believe in the chilliness of the night to stabalise the egg for the subsequent day's use. regrettably this renders the egg somewhat risky after 7pm (4pm in wintry climate) and there are a number of recorded poisonings because of this little commonplace fact. you have a refrigerator - your eggs are risk-free.

It seems that our clarity of reasoning decreases with the amount of time that we have been awake. Therefore, the later in the day it is, the greater the likelihood of encountering a "bad egg". You may have noticed that the consumption of alcohol also increases this tendency. Never, ever drink to excess and then choose an egg after 7:00P. You are virtually guaranteed that you will choose a "Bad Egg".

Humm this would mean that an egg or the chicken that layed it had the ability to tell time.

Wow who knew. I would say to you that places like IHOP, Waffle House, Dennys etc would be out of business if indeed eggs became lethal after 7pm.

Sam, take my advise this is a wives tales gone wrong

The population of Quebec is still alive, and they like to eat breakfast 24-7 ;)
BTW Does your girlfriend think we'll fall off the edge of the planet if we sail past the horizon--coz that would be scarier than poisoned eggs.

Tell ya what, Sammy...I've got some hard-boiled eggs in my tuna fish sandwich. I'll hold off on lunch for a while and let you know if I croak or not.

i think that must be one of those silly urban myths like if you eat fruit after 4pm you'll geytcancer. it's ridiculous! but you shouldn't eat too many because they're very high in cholesterol maybe no more than a couple a week.
