i really want to get a car but i am not sure what kind of car gets the best car milage and has a good look and isnt like really expensive.

Don't get anything domestic, Kia, or Suzuki.
If you stick with scion(built by toyota), toyota, or honda, you'll do even better.

I always wanted a VW Beetle. You can get a 98 or 99 Beetle for around $6000 if you look hard enough. They're cute, fun to drive, and get great gas mileage.
I recommend not spending more than about 7k for a car. Not gonna lie- you'll probably get in at least a small fender bender at least once. Why bother going in debt for a car that has a big ding in the fender, right? Also, a little piece of side advice. Pay for it yourself. If you don't have a part time job get one. It gives you a big sense of accomplishment and gives you real world experience.

there are alot of economical cars out there that get good gas milage and look good. how bout dodge caliber, chevy monte carlo, chevy cobalt & malibu, Honda accord & civic there are to many to list.
