What are some easy drinks to make with vodka?

I'm in need of some quick, easy drinks that you can make with the main ingredient being vodka.

Mmmm, vodka is my absolute favorite! I recommend trying Stoli Bluberri with some lemon flavored sparkling water, soooo tasty! Here's a couple other recipes too :)

Cosmo

1 oz vodka
1/2 oz triple sec
1/2 oz Rose's® lime juice
1/2 oz cranberry juice


Shake vodka, triple sec, lime and cranberry juice vigorously in a shaker with ice. Strain into a martini glass, garnish with a lime wedge on the rim, and serve.

Dirty Martini

3 oz vodka
1 oz dry vermouth
1/2 oz olive brine


Pour all ingredients into a cocktail shaker half-filled with cracked ice. Shake well. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass, garnish with an olive, and serve.

Strawberry Ice

1 1/2 oz strawberry vodka
1 1/2 oz strawberry schnapps
1 1/2 oz cranberry juice


Combine all ingredients in a cocktail shaker over ice. Shake and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a strawberry, and serve.

Kamikaze

1 part vodka
1 part triple sec
1 part Rose's® lime juice


Shake well with ice and strain mixture into a shot glass. Salute.

Jello Shots

1/3 oz jello
1 cup boiling water
1 cup vodka


Dissolve jello with the boiling water. Add vodka, stir, and pour into suitable sized shot glasses, ice trays, or plastic cups.

Sex on the Beach

1 oz vodka
3/4 oz peach schnapps
cranberry juice
grapefruit juice


Add vodka and peach schnapps to a highball glass. Fill with equal measures of cranberry juice and grapefruit juice, and stir.

Those are popular with the main ingred. being vodka.

If you want even easier get flavored vodka then mix it with anything you want. The flavoring doesn't leave your drinks tasting dilluted like when you use regular vodka, but if you have to use regular vodka choose slightly richer juices/drinks/sodas than you would normally drink, then when you add the vodka they will taste mellower.

If you do get a flavored vodka one of the tastiest impromptu drinks is to match it with the same flavored soda, juice or drink, like vanilla pepsi and vanilla vodka. I had some Bicardi Limon and Pepsi Lemon -- that stuff was great! You would think it would be too much flavor but it's really pleasant, much harder to taste the alcohol in it.

Caesars. Made with Clamato juice and a stick of celery. And vodka martinis. You need a shaker, ice, vodka and vermouth, garnish with olives. That's 1 1/2 ozs of vodka over the ice, a splash of vermouth, shake well and pour into a frosted martini glass. Serve with two or three olives on a toothpick.

Cranberry
Pomegranate juice
pineapple and a little grenedine for color
Sweet and Sour mix
kahula - shake well
THis one is really good called the "Gatorade"

1/2oz. Vodka
1/2oz. Southern Comfort
1/2oz. Midori
1/2oz. Amaretto
1oz. Sweet&Sour
1oz. 7up--add after shaking above ingredients!!!

Build drink over ice in a highball glass.
Shake glass-then add 7up. Garnish with a
lemon and cherry.

one easy drink is a salty dog--basically it is 1/2 vodka & 1/2 white grapefruit juice--with salt around the rim of the glass. another is 1/2 vodka & 1/2 oj--screwdriver

Vodka and pineapple juice is great. We used to call vodka and orange juice a screwdriver and vodka and pineapple juice a crescent wrench! Be careful. You can get really drunk fast on it.
