Lasanga- I asked for this recipe not that long ago and oh my gosh i must say it is now my number one favorite food and its great!!
This is the way I make it:
Brown a pound of hamburger (if you want a lot of meat then use 1 1/2 to 2 pounds)
Cook lasagna noodles in water until soft
Add spagetti sauce to cooked hamburger (I usually use the canned and I only put in 3/4--but again it is to your taste)
Use either a rectangle pyrex pan (for a family) or a square pyrex pan (for 2 people) and layer the ingredients like this:
noodles (cover the bottom--sometimes you have to cut them in half)
hamburger (half of what you cooked)
Cottage Cheese (just a few blobs and spread then around to make a thin layer and this is optional--I didn't like it as a kid, but do now)
Shredded Cheese (a very fine layer--my mom used Cheddar and Motzerella, but I usually buy the preshredded stuff)
Noodles (another layer)
Hamburger (the rest)
Cheese (cover the top so you don't see any of the meat)
Then you cook it in the oven at 350 degrees until the cheese is melted (usually takes about 10 minutes, but keep a close eye on it the first time)
You will need:
lasagna noodles (usually about 6-7)
hamburger (1-2 pounds)
Cottage Cheese (optional)
Shredded Cheese
Spagetti Sauce (you can try different flavors too--my favorite is Garlic and Herb)
My suggestion (no matter whos recipe you use) is that you try it the first time and then change it to fit how you like it (more or less meat--maybe some peppers, etc.)
Good Luck!!

"Ground Beef Casserole"
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 shredded onion
1 (10 oz. pkg. frozen veggies
2 cans cream of chicken soup
1 lb. frozen Tater Tots
Place in casserole dish in above order. Bake @ 325 for 1 1/2 hours, uncovered.
"Stuffed Cabbage" - Serves 4
1 head of cabbage
1 lb. ground beef
1 small minced onion
1 mashed clove garlic
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1 tablespoon dried parsley
2 cups canned tomatoes (reserve juice)
Cut the core out of the cabbage and remove 8 large leaves. Shred the rest of the head as for coleslaw. Soak leaves a few minutes in hot water to make them less brittle and easy to roll. Combine the meat, onion, garlic, parsley, and seasonings. When leaves are soft, put a portion of meat on each leaf and roll up. Tuck the ends in or secure with toothpicks. Put the shredded cabbage in a large saucepan or kettle with the tomatoes and 1/2 cup of the tomato juice. Place the stuffed leaves on top, close together. Cover and simmer over low heat until cabbage is tender, 1 1/2-2 hours. Add more juice from tomatoes if the pot seems to be going dry.
"Easy Hamburger Casserole"
1 lb. ground beef; cooked
4 cups macaroni noodles; cooked
1 (16 oz.) can corn
1 (15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
Mushrooms, if desired
Mix all together; reheat on top of stove. Serve with warm rolls or cheese bread.

Nothing fancy, but would have to be Meatloaf. Hamburger Spanish Onion (Latin onions make it so much more festive) Crackers (smashed in my hands with hatred, to mere dust) One large egg (chicken, not like a lizard, or spider egg, to be clear) Pepper, Parsley, Sage, Oregano a few shots of Ketchup and/or BBQ Sauce Now create your "loaf looking" meat and use 2 fingers to make a trench. Let back for about 20 minutes at 375 F. In the meantime, mix some ketchup, bbq sauce, mustard, and honey to taste. Mix together well. Now pour all over the "loaf" as well as filling in the trench with this sauce. Some fresh Parsley on top gives it that "2 Star Restaurant" look. Bake another 10-15 minutes. Times will vary if you are using gas or electric oven. Also, size of "loaf" figures in too. Try not to get any E Coil and over cook rather than under. As strange as all of that sounds, now put grated cheese sprinkled all over said "loaf" and only put in long enough for this cheese to start to melt, just not all the way melt. If you are a spinach fan, you could have put hand ripped pieces into the mix before turning it into a loaf. This is one of the first foods I must eat after I feel like some Comfort food. Today, for instance, would be a great day for this, for me. Enjoy! Peace:)

Not sure about the best, but the easiest for a "lazy day" dinner is sloppy joes
just brown the meat and add a can of pizza sauce.

how about lasagne, spaghetti bolognaise, mexican salad (cook chopped tomatoes, chillis, onion, pepper, garlic etc with the beef and add to a salad of lettuce and whatever else you like), fajitas, enchilladas. you can make a stuffing with it and use it to stuff peppers, tomatoes, onions and roast them in the oven.
