Christiand believe that Muhammed existed, and that he started a religion, and that many of his saying were recorded after his death in a book called th Qur'an. But when we compare the teachings of the Qur'an with the teachings of Christianity, it is clear that he taught things that are contrary to Christian doctrines. So he is not considered to be a prophet.

Actually, most Christians believe that Muhammad is actually an antichrist. Several verses in the bible warn of strange dangerous teachings. Blowing things up, and teaching that a PROPHET is more important than THE SON OF GOD kinda clues you in.

As it was written, God will forgive all sins except equalizing him. We are allowed to follow and believe in the saying and actions of all his prophets.

I believe he was a prophet, just not one from God. I think considering the evil he told his followers to do, he was a prophet for the other side.

there are writings that tend to indicate that Mohammad had a history of mental illness. these writings are not from the qu'ran.
these writings go on to say that he tried to kill himself when he kept hearing voices but the voices or something kept him from succeeding. the same sources say that someone told him to listen to the voices and he then began writing the qu'ran.
i admit that i believe that the voices were demons. i believe that one or more of these demons disguised himself/themself as gabriel and spoke to mohammad. i think that there is a possibility that mohammad was possessed by demons. and so, i think the demons are the ones who gave mohammad the words for the qu'ran.

No, Muhammed is the Muslim's prophet, not the Christians, to me, Muhammed may have been a true man but he was not associated with God, no offense to anyone, that's my personal opinion...
