I know the number one cardinal rule is to never date a friends ex. But my question is what if your friend is someone you haven't hung out with since grammer school and you are both adults now? My exbf is really upset becuase I'm dating a friend of his from grammer school. He's mad at the guy cuz he says that they are friends and he shouldn't be dating me. My ex and my new guy don't even hang out and hardly ever talk, except when they see eachother around town. Is it wrong of my new guy to be dating me or is my ex just trying to make excuses as to why he has the right to attempt to sabotage my happieness?

he's your EX for a reason.. it didn't work out.. he's outside his jurisdiction and trying to continue controlling your life. Tell him to bug off. You aren't his property, make your life decisions for you.

Guys have friends that we see ever blue moon and when we get together its like no time has past.

I always asked first and then say "Its not that I need your permission. I just thought you would want to know."
