I have been dating a women for a couple months. I am not dating anyone else, but, I know that she has (shorty after we started)and may again. We have had great dates and I really want to take this relationship further and the signals seem to show she is into me. How do I approach/talk too her about wanting to be her boyfriend? I want to be careful that I don't come off as the dog marking my territory, as she is completely free to do as she pleases, but I want a girlfriend and not another female friend. If she not willing to move to be more serious, I want to date other women. Advice on such a situation?

Ask for what you want. Faint heart never won fair lady. Relationships involve risk. Tell her you want to be her boyfriend. If she says yes then you will be happy. If not, then it wasn't meant to be. Don't play games.

The next time you are out, tell her straight up, that you have found yourself wanting a more serious and exclusive relationship with her. Tell her that you have no desire to date other people and want to really see if this relationship is headed into long term status.
See what she says and follow her lead- if she is not ready for that, tell her you understand. No need to tell her you are considering other options, but begin to date others and maybe you will find that certain special someone you are looking for.

I would tell her over a romantic dinner that you enjoy your time with her so much that you personally do not want to date anyone else. Make sure to tell her that she is "not trapped" that she of course can date others if she pleases. Then you just need to judge her reaction. She may say she doesnt want to date anyone else either or she may say she would like to keep seeing other people. Keep the angle that this is about what you want to do and that you are in no way pressuring her to make a decision, you just wanted to keep it open and honest.

I would say the best way to find out if she wants you as in a relationship, is to come right out and ask her.
Beating around the bush isn't going to cut it.
Sounds like she is not ready to commit, and if so, better find out now before you invest any more of your time.
You sound very thoughtful and that you care about this person.
Do yourself a favour and get to it,so that you don't get hurt. Good luck!!

Are you aware how well you just expressed yourself? That was completely clear, and, I think, totally appropriate to tell your gf almost word for word. It was succinct, respectful, and not pushy while expressing your wishes for the relationship. The only thing I would add is something you probably already know: tell her in advance that the two of you need to talk, and when she is ready for the talk, be sitting down face to face without distractions.

Do you really need to be have that label? Just enjoy the relationship for what it is, and what it's not. If you're happy, then what's the need for change? If not, then perhaps this is a conversation that you need to have with him. But I would say that since he calls you his girlfriend, he most likely considers himself to be your boyfriend.

The best thing to do is ask her ....If you can't be open with her why do you want her as a girlfriend? And if she's dating other people at the same time i don't think she likes you as much as you may think! She's still searching...

Just go for it! Most women would love for a guy just to come out and say how he really feels. I can't stand it when guys play games and act like they don't care, and they do. Life is too short....tell her that you want to take it to the next level...you and her as a couple.......
Good luck...be yourself!

Take it from someone that has been through this before. Tell her how you feel. Ask her how she feels. Then tell her you want to be steady bf and gf. If she says she doesnt take it as it is. Trust me on this though date someone else. Waiting is never good

Ask her if she'd be interested in dating you exclusively...her answer from there will be your key to dating just her, or others as well...
