People like animals probably for a lot of the reasons they like human children. They're cute, helpless and stupid. But at the same time they respond to our love and form a bond. It's like a kid who never grows into a grumpy teenager.

When we look at those adorable little faces, our emotions take over. Not to exclude, they love us unconditionally.
I once knew a student studying to become a veterinarian. He told me things they did to animals that I consider ultimate cruelty. He told me about a dog they removed an eye from with out anesthesia!!! And how later the dog came up to them with his tail wagging.
Can you believe???

I think you mean ATTACHED to animals. I think it is the idea of taking an animal and caring for it with food, water, shelter and medical care and in return you get a type of unconditional love plus there are no arguments or disagreements of any kind which makes for a very harmonious relationship. This Redneck has this answer!! more or less?? LOL Opposites attract!! actually, it has something to do with babies, A natural acceptance we all are born with. Teddy bears for instants, something about their little body's, big round eyes and that innocent look they give you that makes them so irresistible. I think this is the same with little critters plus...we trust animals maybe for the same reasons as well as the fact that they don't play head games or try to emotionally hurt us, we bond to animals as fast as they bond to us and we like that as well. Most humans have love for animals, altho a few do not have any love at all and actually hate and abuse animals. I think the love for animals that we have is just an expression of love for life and the things God made.

Because they are very trustworthy,affectionate, friendly, loyal and even the smallest dog will protect you without considering the risks,they are always there no matter what and if that is not love I don't know what is.
There is an English saying:
The more people I meet the more I love my dog
You see a dog will never lie to you never abandon you, never betray your trust

One they are cute. They never talk back or argue with you. They love you unconditionally. They are always excited when you get home. If you are sick they keep you warm. If you are sad they will do their best to cheer you up. If you ever get mad at them, they forgive you. They never get too upset if dinner isn't ready just when they want. They never give you the third degree, except maybe with their noses on where you have been and why you didn't call.

because, they are a best friend to those who have dogs, i mean they are very fun. I actually know that the farthest thing from a persons mind is that actually owning a pet ( specifically a dog) is healthy for, all physicall, social, and mental and emotional health. Physicall: they make us go for walks. Social: when we go for dogs people stop by to pet your dog. And Mental and emotional, they are always there to cheer you up, they are very healthy, if u go to google u can look up... why are dogs good for your health ... and u will find lots of things on it, bye bye

They are amazing creatures. They are constantly doing something that I cannot do. My dogs run faster than I can imagine, my cats jump hire in one bound than I can jumpup and touch with my hand! They are full of love, surprise, and joy for life.
They are not perfect, but still humble.
They are what we as humans, try to achieve.

My opinion is I like animals a hell of a lot better than people. Animals love you no matter what, they are always happy to see you and greet you, they are always by your side, and they will protect you from harm.
