if you prefer your hair long, keep it that way because it is not considered unprofessional in any way.

I think if you hair well-groomed, it doesn't matter how long (or short) it is (I guess if it was down to your knees it might be a bit non-officelike...like ridiculously long fingernails).

I think that most people find long hair for women attractive. If it looks nicely trimmed and clean, longer hair could possibly help you GET a job. The truth is, attractive people are hired over those perceived as less attractive.

You're a girl, right? Or am I making an assumption? If you're a guy, you might want to consider cutting your hair...unless you're working in a creative field where long hair wouldn't be an issue at all.

Good luck with your job search!

It depends on how scragely your hair looks when it is long. Some women have long hair and it gets stringy or wavy/unkempt. For job interviews your hair should be a professional as your clothes. If your wear it down, make sure it is styled (straightened or curled) don't just wash and go. You could also put it into a bun or pony at the nape of your neck. If you put it in a pony tail, wrap some of your hair around the holder and secure it in place with bobby pin. It makes a finished look.

Hair length has nothing to do with the hiring of a desirable employee. One of my old emplyee's had hair to her bum and would never have cut of off for anyone!! As long as it's tied back when needed it is fine! Also if you were hiring yourself, would you be bothered with the length of the hair? have long hair and be proud... there is nothing more than flowing locks to shout out how sexy and womanly you can be! (presuming you are female there- sorry!)

Personally I think hair that long is only okay for teen girls; I woud keep it right around the shoulder length.

It mostly depends on if your hair is neat and trimmed and not going in every which way. If it's nice and neat, i dont think its a problem at all!

It only depends on who it matters too. If you like it best long, then go long. Wear your hair in a way that pleases you. If you try, you will find you cannot please everyone else.

I dont think it matters that much as long as your hair is neat and tidy kind of thing.

Professionalism is in how you present yourself not how long or short your hair is. ;)
