kay. So that guy I asked to the homecoming dance said yes!!!!! I was so freaked out when he called, because I hadn't expected him to say yes. Then on top of all that, I didn't even recognize his voice! Now, the dance is on saturday. I got my dress last night. I'm wondering whether he will see me in a good light since we're only friends.

We go on vacation with his family a bunch over the summer, but he's never really displayed an interest in me. Now ok, I admit I kind of do like him.

I just want to know guys, if you were in his position would you see me in a better light then the camping atmosphere? I mean, that's kind of comfortable and the dance will be more formal.

I can't really tell if he's uncomfortable with going though.

Is it possible that he likes me? Or he just wanted to go for some other reason?

It's always cool when they see you all dressed up and glammed for the first time. He'll see you in a different light alright, it won't be the girl next door light anymore.
Good Luck and have fun.

Settle down.... Don't over think this..... If he didn't want to go he would have said no or not called back. You need to NOT be worried wether he "LIKES" you or not right now. Just have a good evening, do NOT try to be someone or something you are not & just think of it as a "friendly" date. Remeber, he "knows" you, this will give him a chance to see you in another way, another setting. Be yourself & HAVE FUN!!!!
Give this some time, you don't need to know if he "likes" you right now. Just be happy that he has said yes to being your escort to the Homecoming dance.

Look RELAX and get a grip. He likes you or he wouldn't have said, "Yes." Just stay calm and be yourself. It will all be fine...life is an adventure. Have fun and enjoy the dance.

woman here. well it's really up to the chemistry from the guy. and if he was uncomfortable he would have said no. let him make the moves that way you wont be humiliated or embarrassed.

A yes, is a YES...
Enjoy yourself.....be repectful and follow God's Law .....no sex before marriage, etc.
He will see .....you as you present yourself....he must like something about you........ otherwise he would not have said, YES.
Enjoy.
Peace
