I have a 60 inch, Mitusubushi tv. About 13 years old. It recently broke, I am hoping to sell it for its parts or get whatever I can for it. Does anyone have any ideas of what I can or should do. Not sure I want to pay repair costs........

It's not worth repairing.

Go to your city's web site. See if they have any links regarding disposing or recycling of TVs. Contact them and see how you can get rid of it.

Also, if you buy a new TV, many retailers offer delivery and disposal of your old TV for a small additional fee. We did that a year and a half ago for 50 bucks.

You could try selling it to a local tv repair person, perhaps they are looking for some parts inventory.

Don't waste your money on repairs since its so outdated. Try selling it on Craigslist since its free to list.

dont do it , if its 8 years previous , and nicely-known it quite is not even worth 5 funds , I threw mine out as quickly as I have been given my hdtv, the ingredient is you're able to desire to alter the image once you employ the vcr and make it sq. , yet once you watch hdtv programming you're able to desire to set it to widescreen or finished, thats the ingredient with the recent television's you're able to desire to keep adjusting the dimensions for each software , yet for xbox 360 and hd programming its worth it. additionally do not purchase that crap you'r so referred to as chum is ripping you off , those television's are worth not something on the instant even new.
