uh oh!! u should've consulted someone and done something 3-6 months BEFORE ur wedding!! try seeing a dermatologist...

problem is, u don't want to do anything to make it WORSE in the next 2 weeks.. they always say, don't try ANY new skin treatments, peels, haircuts, etc too soon before the day of the wedding.... perhaps u can look into makeups that can COVER extremely well and last long?

i know some people who started the birth control pill a few months before their wedding, for their skin as well as other reasons!! :)

clearasil ultra has a new facewash line that supposedly "guarantees clearer skin in 3 days".....

good luck!!!!!

If you already sent her an email explaining your feelings, and she sort of apologized, there isn't much else you can do without hurting her feelings. If I were you, I'd put up with it for the next 2 weeks and when your time comes to be married, she will have to do the same for you. Weddings are expensive and stressful, and everyone just wants them to be perfect. While it is extremely rude that she did not thank you and instead complained, I doubt she realized what she has done as she is likely just panicking. This happens often in wedding parties. Another way to go about it would to tell her in person, not email, how you feel. The last part you wrote was a nice way of describing it. "I know its two weeks before her wedding, but I am actually hurt by her recent behavior. I understand she is stressed and I don't want to add to it. At the same time, I don't want to be taken advantage of." That is not mean, it shows you still care and want to help, but you would like to be appreciated it for it, not reprimanded.

I had pretty bad acne. Try Ance Free. I got mine from Wal-mart but im sure you can get it almost any where its about $20 for about a month supply. When i started using it i started seeing results in 3 days. The redness in my face was almost gone and after 2 weeks i saw big differences. Im sure everyones skin is different though but Im very happy with the results.

Sounds like you waited until the last minute. I've heard that Proactive works great. If you don't have time for that, there are a lot of antibiotics your doctor or a dermatologist can prescribe you. Tetracycline is a big one, and it's inexpensive. Might not be totally gone by your wedding, but would definitely be greatly improved. Good luck.

DIffernt things work for differnt people. I found success washing my face twice a day with olay for extra sensitive skin, using olay complete mosturizer and stridex with benzol peroxide pads twice a day.

One that I definitly would advise...DO NOT try everything you can to cure it becuase your face will dry out and peel and its worse then the acne. See a doctor for a perscription, but keep in mind they make your face worse before getting better.

Congrats and good luck on the big day, your future hubby will think you are beautiful no matter what and that is what matters most!

Proactiv would probably be your best bet. DO NOT put toothpaste on your skin like someone else suggeted. Most toothpastes have tartar control and whitening products in them and they will make the pimple worse. Also drink lots of water. Green tea is also good for cleaning out your system.

if you are able to get the real thing, aloe vera! Slice a small portion of the plant and then slice the plant open and put the slippery stuff on your face. This works better than anything I have ever tried and it's the real thing!
Good Luck! Congrat by the way!

I'm not sure about acne, but toothpaste or Preparation H will quickly dry up and get rid of a pimple. But only use one on the pimple, not to sure what it would do if you mixed them!

Make sure you are drinkings lots and lots of water! This will help. Also, cut back on those things that will make you break out, like chocolate and other sweets. Make sure you are washing your face morning and night and using moisturizer & sun screen.
