"What do you think happiness is?"
To me happiness is a sense of contentment about my mental condition which is derived from my own mental and physical interaction with the enviroment I am in.
"Where does it come from, in relation to you?"
Happiness comes from within although people can have a tremendous amount of influence on this.
Example(s): Your spouse making a suprise breakfast for you.
Hearing a childs first words.
Or just your boss being pleased with your work.
"If happiness is a form, then it can be maintained. What of it?"
Happiness can be maintain but it takes work, its easier to sink into loathing and despisement for ones own condition than to find a little something to find as a source of happiness. Although if you have genuine problems (such as I do at the time of writing) with happiness/depression theres always counselling and medication that will be a good staff to support you.

I believe happiness comes when something happens according to your wishes knowingly or unknowingly. Its a feeling that tells you certain wish has been fulfilled.
Its an in-depth mental feeling based on your perception of something.
Happiness can be maintained by being content and satisfied with whatever you have got.
I get happy when I help someone and see that my help has brought joy to the other person. That happiness can last forever.

happiness comes within ourselves. We have to accept things and expect the unexpected. Everything in life, is all up to us. Which better for us? some people have a lot of money but still unhappy? some people are success in thier careers but still unhappy? we have to slow down and smell the flower sometimes. why we stress out? work? money? we always find those, not happy with work? who doesn't? balance, laugh with friends, watch movies, have fun, everyday is a new day. don't sweat the small stuff. think about some people who are unfortunate than you, that's all i think and reality check says thank God that im still alive and have something better than them.

The nature of happiness to me: a feeling of contentment, a sense of achievement, feeling peaceful

Where does it come from: my self, my children, my faith, my family, strangers, everything!

Happiness maintenance: forgiving myself, meditation, play, artistic expression, doing good, chocolate, petting kittens, and ice cream sundaes. Maybe not in this order, but you get the idea.
