She may be pointing out the thing she is looking away from.
Or you both could just have a miscommunication, you by brining it up in the first place, and her by continuing to ask you what more can you want.
Last possiblility is that you are not really honest withyourself. You asked her becasue you have growing feelings, but when she said that you retracted and now are trying to cover the footsteps.
Just relax and let it be like normal, which I highly doubt can be possible after you and her both put the friends/lovers thing in highlight marker.
Can of worms, OPEN!

Let her know you two need to talk. If she is a real friend, she will listen to you no matter what. If she freaks out like most women do, she isn't a real friend and you are better off without. You need to be real and you need to be truthful about your feelings. Honestly when I read the grown feelings with her part, i was a little confused. I thought for sure you were saying that you liked her too. If you are confusing us then you are probably confusing her. Just be real. I would rather hear the truth then some BS.

Maybe they still love their bf's and don't want to let them go. A lot of them think like this, but then the abuse or whatever gets worse. So then they ask and want other options than breaking up, which I think the only option in that situation is break up anyway. I agree with u. They should just break up instead of staying w/ them. OR maybe they were threatened if they dont stay together, something bad will happen. A lot of stuff happens now and thats why they are asking and wanting answers.

Bless her, you're confusing the poor girl, you firstly told her you had grown feelings for her which gave her a little hope, now you're saying you want to be friends. She obviously really likes you. If I was her, I would stop hanging out wit you so you don't know what you've got till it's gone.

To be honest, you seem to be dancing around the issue. The question should be "how do i let her know i'm interested in something more than friendship?". She keeps asking you the same question because she wants to know as well. She's just waiting for you to tell her how you feel b/c she's scared of doing it first.
So make your move, and reap the rewards for not being chicken.
Wish you luck!

You are contradicting yourself...you just stated that you have grown feelings for her...and then at the end you state you just want to be friends....of course she's confused as to what you want. You need to be honest with yourself about how you truly feel about her...and then give her an answer to her question!

What does grown feelings mean? No wonder she keeps asking you. Sounds to me you're not being clear and are sending mixed signals.

she is blatanly STUPID. if you have to for the last time tell her you dont like her in a romantic way and if she keeps it up with the flirting behavior you will no longer be friends. be straightforward with her,.

Either she fears you like her more than she likes you, and wants to be sure that isn't the case...or she does like you more than friends, and is fishing for you to say so.
